A 5580 m² technical project
CHIESI, the pharmaceutical specialist working on the development, production and sale of medicines to treat respiratory problems, relied on PHARMADEC to design and build the changes to its production site in the Centre of France. This 5580 m² ambitious, technical project aims to cope with a growth in the firm’s business and involved a reorganisation of the whole of the pharmaceutical factory.
Master plan and design by PHARMADEC
The PHARMADEC teams worked alongside CHIESI from the start of the project drawing up a master plan for the site for ten years to plan the schedule for work and the future evolution of the factory. The in-house design team at PHARMADEC relied on a detailed analysis of the industrial process and the movements linked to its client’s business to come up with a made to measure project.
Work done within 24 months
After the design phase, PHARMADEC took care of managing the work in the first phase of the master plan. Work on this operation focused on the construction of a storage unit, the installation of a weighing unit, the reorganisation of the laboratories, the creation of a cold room and the reorganisation of the administrative block. In all, it took 24 months to erect the 5580 m² project.
